Michele Diniz

Michele Diniz is a Brazilian cinematographer, screenwriter, and director. She wrote and directed the short film HARMONICA (GAITA), currently beginning its festival run. Her debut feature project, ROSAS, was selected for FEMCINE LAB in Chile and for ECM+LAB at FAM in Brazil. She has worked in cinema for over 15 years, serving as cinematographer on more than 24 short films, including The Pleasure Is All Mine, screened internationally and awarded at 30 festivals, and Instant, which received Best Cinematography awards at Mostra Clandestina and CineAustral in 2024. She began her career photographing weddings alongside her parents before earning a degree in Film in 2009 and working as a camera assistant. Awarded a full scholarship, she completed a Master's degree in Film Arts with a specialization in cinematography through the European Kino Eyes program. Alongside her work as a director and writer, she continues to work as a cinematographer across fiction, commercial, and educational projects.
