Kyle Provencio Reingold
Kyle Provencio Reingold is the Founder & President at Prominent Entertainment Co. LLC. / Pocho Pictures, a Los Angeles based MediaWorks Company producing original IP across various mediums, educational spaces, and community platforms, whose mission is to amplify the unheard voices. In 2018, KPR graduated cum laude and named a University Honors Scholar from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, earning a BFA in Film & TV Production with a concentration in Directing & Producing.
KPR began with an internship at Warner Bros. TV in Integrated Marketing Department and went on to work in Production at Sony Pictures Television / ABC for “The Goldbergs” & “Schooled.” He was able to shadow Executive Producer & Happy Madison Executive, Doug Robinson, and take a position as the Writer's P.A. / Writer’s Assistant for Dan Levy’s TV Sitcom “Indebted” on NBC starring Fran Drescher & Adam Pally. Currently, KPR serves as the Program Director at a non-profit film organization, The Ghetto Film School, Los Angeles, where he has overseen programming and forged ground-breaking partnerships with The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Disney/ABC/HULU, & Hudson Properties/Sunset Gower Studios. In this role, KPR has Executive Produced and supervised the production of over 100+ Student Short Films; 71 of these films were produced by students on Bolex Cameras/16mm Kodak Motion Picture Film in partnership with the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical gardens, now on view in the Huntington Art Gallery. The films KPR has Directed have screened at film festivals such as the Official Latino Film Festival, Cine+Mas San Francisco Latino Film Festival, Latino Film Market, and Latinx21 Film Festival. He has also won awards, such as the 2019 Audience Choice Award for his narrative short film, “Con Esperanza” (2020), which is based around a Chicano boy pursuing his musical dreams. He was most recently commissioned in 2023 to Direct and Produce a Documentary short film titled, “Betye Saar: Drifting Toward Twilight”, about renowned assemblage artist, Betye Saar, for the Huntington Art Museum. For this film, he produced an original score with Blue Note Jazz Vibraphonist, Joel M. Ross Good Vibes Quintet, which will be published in 2023-2024 and sold globally.
