Urwa Hocane
Urwa-Tul-Wusqua Hussain, better known as Urwa Hocane, is a Pakistani actress, model and media personality. She made her acting debut on television in 2012 and became best known for portraying Meera in Udaari, which earned her a nomination in the Hum Awards for Best Actress Popular. She made her film debut with Na Maloom Afraad (2014) and later appeared in Punjab Nahi Jaungi (2017). In 2022, she made her debut as a producer with the romantic drama Tich Button. Her sister, Mawra Hocane, is another popular actress, with whom she launched a clothing line in collaboration with.
While born in Karachi, she grew up in Islamabad where she completed her education from Bahria College. She started performing as in theater as a teenager and later worked for ARY Musik as a VJ. She married the famous singer Farhan Saeed in 2016, with their wedding being highly publicized.
